High School Building Project

Stoneham High was approved to move forward in the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) process in the fall of 2018 and the Town approved the expenditure of funds for the required Feasibility Study at the Annual Town Meeting held on May 6, 2019. In December, 2019, the MSBA, which will provide Stoneham a grant for the Feasibility Study costs, invited Stoneham into their grant program to develop a cost effective, sustainable and educationally appropriate solution to the aging Stoneham High School.

The Stoneham School Building Committee (SSBC) will oversee the Feasibility Study and will investigate renovation, renovation and addition, and new construction options. The SSBC meetings are open to all and the committee welcomes your attendance and input. If you cannot attend the meeting in person, you can find online versions of the meeting live, on Stoneham TV government channels (Comcast 22, RCN 15 and Verizon 36). You can also view the meetings at any time on https://www.stonehamtv.org/ondemand in the Stoneham School Building Committee section.

The School Building Committee is dedicated to informing the Stoneham community-at-large about the Stoneham High School building project. For more information on the high school building project, please see the link above.
